ARM Oil & Gas Solutions Opening Offices in Pittsburgh and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to Further Support Marcellus Shale Industry

Hershey, PA. (BUSINESS WIRE) – August 27, 2010 – ARM Oil & Gas Solutions (“ARM”) announced today that it has opened a new office in Pittsburgh and will be opening an office in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre next month to provide engineering and permitting services for pipeline and natural gas companies engaged in Marcellus Shale development. ARM has been providing such services to these companies since the very beginning of the play. These offices will enable ARM to better serve a broader geographic base of natural gas and pipeline company clients, including those operating in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio and New York State. ARM also has other offices in Hershey and State College, Pennsylvania and Columbia, Maryland.

The new offices will be led by two engineers recently hired by ARM who possess significant energy and Marcellus Shale experience. Andrew Strassner, PE, will lead the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre office. Mr. Strassner is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and New York and he has extensive planning, engineering and permitting experience on Marcellus Shale natural gas and pipeline projects. Mr. Strassner's experience will also allow him to serve clients operating in New York State and the Delaware River Basin once those areas commence drilling activity.

Gary Stiegel, PE, will lead the Pittsburgh office, located in the Southpointe Business Complex in Canonsburg. Mr. Stiegel is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania and has broad experience as an energy and environmental project engineer. Mr. Stiegel has been involved with multiple large-scale projects including oil shale water resource development in Colorado's Piceance Basin, NEPA projects, carbon sequestration studies, bioenergy feasibility studies, wastewater treatment plant upgrades, and the treatment of gas well fluids (i.e., produced water and flowback).

Ned Wehler, CEO of ARM, said, “The opening of our Pittsburgh and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre offices is an exciting step forward for our emergent Oil & Gas Solutions division. This decision was driven by the increased demand of our clients and the ability to hire experienced engineers to manage and staff these offices. This will allow us to efficiently serve all parts of Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, West Virginia and New York State while continuing the same quality engineering and regulatory permitting services that we have provided over the past several years.”
