Civil Engineer 3-5 Years

Field Technician

Full Time Field Technician - Ideal candidate will have 1 to 5 years of experience, the desire and ability to travel and support a wide range of engineering and environmental projects throughout Pennsylvania, and strong writing and communication skills. Projects will involve field inspections of soils, geosynthetics, and erosion and sediment controls. Past construction inspection and/or field testing experience (including nuclear gauge certification) and/or a BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or Geology is also a plus.

Surveyor and Surveyor/Designer

Surveyor and Surveyor/Designer -Ideal candidate will have 4 or more years of experience in surveying and drafting for civil engineering projects. Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as a team player. Candidate must be able to efficiently field survey, generate grading plans, profiles, sections details, and quantity/volume calculations. Must have computer literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel. Position should be accustomed to completing work with limited supervision and be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary team environment. An Associate Degree in Surveying or Engineering and a SIT is required. Experience in IT and GIS a plus. Wireline (Open Hole) Engineer

Wireline (Open Hole) Engineer - Candidate must possess at least 3 years of experience operating an open-hole wireline truck.  Must have experience logging wells for oil and gas applications running tools to depths greater than 8000 feet.  The operator must have a Pennsylvania CDL.  The home office location for this position will be Canonsburg, State College, or Hershey, PA.  Candidate must have demonstrated ability to work independently on remote well sites, possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work well and communicate well with others.  High school diploma or equivalent along with industry experience required. GIS Analyst

GIS Analyst - Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as a team player. Candidate must have a BS or MS in geography, geology, environmental sciences, civil or environmental engineering with minimum of 2-5 years of experience in GIS field. Information database development, IT, CAD and web base development a plus. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to GIS mapping, spatial analysis, 3D imaging, impact analysis, document management, GPS equipment usage and support of data.

Hydrogeologist

Hydrogeologist - Ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of hydrogeologic project experience. The candidate should have the desire and ability to support and manage a wide range of water supply and other hydrogeologic projects, and strong writing and communication skills. The position will require varying degrees of field and office work, potentially requiring overnight stays away from home on occasion. Projects will generally involve soil, rock and groundwater investigations, water supply development and permitting, pumping test implementation and analysis, and report writing. Prior experience with PADEP and SRBC rules and regulations, water supply and injection well permitting, geophysical surveys, and/or oil and gas development is a plus. Degree in Geology or Hydrogeology is required.

Maintenance Manager 

Maintenance Manager - Ideal candidates will perform maintenance and custodial duties at its properties in Hershey and at other regional office locations. Qualified candidates must have experience with basic building trades skills (carpentry, plumbing, basic electrical, and HVAC function), and knowledge of general equipment and vehicle maintenance, repair, and cleaning procedures. The successful candidate will also demonstrate ability to operate maintenance equipment, and a willingness to travel to other sites and project locations. Other requirements: high school graduate; proficient recordkeeping skills, driver's license, and ability to lift heavy (~50 lbs) items. This hire is also subject to a background check. Responsibilities include: management and maintenance of company equipment and vehicles; building maintenance; shop organization and care; equipment care, calibration, and tool-ups to support field projects; equipment repair; maintaining supplies and inventory; field services as needed to support field projects; and general care and service of office equipment and systems.

Candidate must have a BS or MS in civil or environmental engineering with 5 to 15 years of experience, and must be licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania or be able to obtain Pennsylvania licensure within six months of hire date. Position will support a wide range of projects related to water resources, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control planning, wastewater, geotechnical, construction administration, and permitting in support of the oil and gas industry. Primary responsibilities include managing conceptual through final design of natural gas well pads, impoundments, pipelines and related facilities for operations in the Marcellus and Utica Shale.  These projects include a broad range of permitting, civil engineering and construction oversight. Part-Time or Full-Time Receptionist -Experienced receptionist to support a wide range of duties. In addition to greeting customers and answering phones, administrative tasks will be included responsibilities of the position. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, be detail-oriented, have exceptional organizational, oral and written skills, have strong proofreading and professional communication skills, maintain confidentiality, and possess advanced skills in Word and Excel with working knowledge of PowerPoint. Solid Waste Consulting Engineer

Solid Waste Consulting Engineer - Mid- to senior-level Solid Waste Consulting Engineer. Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in landfill design, permitting, compliance support, and landfill construction oversight and certification. Advanced knowledge and implementation of PA solid waste regulations are a plus. Experience in landfill gas (LFG) management, LFGTE projects, mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) berms, thorough understanding of geosynthetic applications, leachate management, and storm water control are desired. Environmental –Project Scientist

Environmental Project Scientist - Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, ability to manage multiple project tasks with demanding schedules, possess strong work ethic, flexibility in work schedule and ability to work as a team member. Successful candidates should have a minimum of a B.S. degree in biology, ecology, botany, wildlife management, environmental science or related natural science field and 3 years (minimum) of experience. The candidate will be a member of the Natural Resource group, providing support to oil and gas projects as well as environmental, solid waste, and renewable energy projects. Experience and knowledge of some or all of the following aspects is preferred: wetland identification and delineation, surface water and aquatic assessments, threatened and endangered species surveys, agency coordination, state and federal water encroachment permits and technical environmental report preparation. Candidate must be comfortable working in the field, possess strong documentation skills of field observations, and have working knowledge of permit conditions and ability to use global positioning system. Skills associated with rare species surveys for bats, timber rattlesnakes, Allegheny woodrats and plants are desirable. Travel and some overnight stay will be required to visit project sites and attend client meetings.
