Engineers

NEW - Civil/Environmental/Geotechnical Engineer: Candidate should have 0 to 4 years of experience with a BS or MS in engineering and an EI or EIT certificate. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to: engineering analyses and design; preparation of drawings and specifications; report preparation; and construction quality assurance monitoring for a very diverse group of disciplines such as storm water management systems, stream restoration, dams, geotechnical construction (e.g. foundations and retaining walls) and solid waste management facilities (landfills). Experience with AutoCad, GIS, and HEC modeling are a plus.  Qualified candidates must have proficient verbal and written communication skills, excellent computer skills, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as a team player.

Mid to Senior-Level: Candidate should have 5 to 10 plus years experience in landfill design, permitting, compliance support, and construction certification. Advanced knowledge and implementation of PA regulations required; MD regulatory knowledge is a plus. Must possess broad knowledge and understanding of engineering and scientific disciplines applied in landfill permitting. Experience in landfill gas (LFG) management required; LFGTE project experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive permitting and construction drawings, manage multiple projects, and staff. BS in Civil Engineering and PE are required. MS is preferred.

Junior to Mid-Level: Candidate should have 0 to 5 years experience in landfill design, permitting, compliance support, and construction certification. Knowledge of PA regulations preferred; MD regulatory knowledge a plus. Thorough understanding of geosynthetic applications, leachate management, and storm water control needed. Landfill gas project experience a plus. BS in Civil Engineering is required; MS is preferred.

Scientist

Staff Geologist: Candidate must possess a BS or MS degree in Geology/Hydrogeology with 0-3 years of consulting experience.  Position will combine field and office work; projects will include landfill permitting and monitoring as well as environmental investigations.  Candidates should have a thorough understanding of hydrogeology and geochemistry and the ability to develop geologic maps and cross sections depicting subsurface lithology and groundwater flow.  Strong PC and writing skills are required.  A working knowledge of PADEP regulations concerning solid waste management and environmental remediation standards, and experience with soil characterization, statistical analysis, and groundwater modeling is preferred.  

Geophysicists

Program Manager: For Hershey office. Candidate must possess 10 plus years of experience and a B.A./ B.S., or M.S. degree in Geology (with geophysics courses) or Geophysics. Candidate will be expected to support management and business development of several geophysical business units including Borehole Logging, Munition Response Mapping, and Environmental/Geotechnical Mapping. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage comprehensive geophysical business and projects, manage multiple projects, and staff.

Senior Geophysicist/Project Manager: For Hershey, Maryland, and western PA office. Candidate shall be proficient with data collection and processing of seismic refraction, MASW, EM, Electrical Resistivity, GPR, and gravity methods. Logging Engineer: Immediate opening for a logging engineer with a minimum one year experience using well logging tools. The position will require the logging engineer to operate ARM’s borehole logging truck and will require extensive travel within the United States. Experience in shallow oil and gas or coal applications and relevant experience in the use of nuclear tools would be highly regarded. ARM's Hershey, Pennsylvania office or an alternate office in western Pennsylvania will serve as this professional's home base.

Geophysicist: Position for new western Pennsylvania office: Candidate must possess 2 plus years of experience and a B.A./ B.S., or M.S. degree in Geology (with geophysics courses) or Geophysics. Candidate shall be proficient with data collection and processing of seismic refraction, MASW, EM, Electrical Resistivity, GPR, and gravity methods and borehole logging. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage comprehensive geophysical business and projects, manage multiple projects, and staff.

Project UXO Geophysicist: Candidate shall possess a B.S. or M.S. degree in Geophysics, Geology, or related field with at least 2 years of experience in UXO geophysical investigations. Candidate should have working knowledge of UXO geophysical sensors (EM-61, Magnetics) and navigation systems (RTK GPS). Data analysis skills using Geosoft Geophysical Analysis Software are also required. Surveying and GIS experience a plus. The primary responsibility of this position will be to oversee UXO geophysical field teams and projects on sites across the U.S. Specific project responsibilities will be data collection team oversite, data analysis, quality control activities, work plan and report writing. This position will require extended travel.

Staff UXO Geophysicist: Candidate shall possess a B.S. or M.S. degree in Geophysics, Geology, or related field. A plus if candidate has experience in UXO geophysical investigations with knowledge of UXO geophysical sensors (EM-61, Magnetics) and navigation systems (RTK GPS). Strong PC skills, surveying, and GIS experience a plus.
