ARM has received eleven task orders from the Army Corps under this contract. ARM has performed geophysical surveys, developed groundwater monitoring plans, installed monitoring wells, retrofit existing deep water supply wells for discrete interval groundwater monitoring, acquired groundwater samples, and collected soil samples for analyses at sites in Pennsylvania, New York, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. The following is a summary of each of the task orders/site activities:
Fort Indiantown Gap Installation, Annville, PA. ARM delineated the vertical and lateral extent of a former sanitary landfill using geophysical techniques. Based on the extent of the former landfill, ARM assisted the military in developing and implementing a groundwater monitoring program. ARM installed groundwater monitoring wells and is conducting a monitoring program in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection waste regulations.
Former Nike Missile Battery, Media, PA. ARM rehabilitated existing water supply wells and installed new bedrock monitoring wells using flexible multi-port liners. In order to determine the sampling intervals for these wells, borehole geophysical analyses was coordinated with the evaluation of rock cores.
Ellis Island National Historic Site, New York. ARM performed a subsurface geophysical investigation using ground penetrating radar to evaluate potential voids and subsidence features near a seawall.
Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC. ARM performed a geophysical survey at a proposed electric switch station. The geophysical surveys were conducted to identify and delineate an abandoned tunnel prior to construction.

Former Camp Reynolds Army Depot, Greenville, PA. ARM performed soil sampling and XRF analyses of approximately 100 soil samples from a former small arms firing range.
Former Olmstead Air Force Base, Middletown, PA. ARM developed a groundwater monitoring program and conducted groundwater sampling of deep bedrock wells.

Installation of multiport flexible liner monitoring well at Nike Missle Battery, Media, PA |
Fort Washington National Park, Fort Washington National Park, Maryland. Geophysical survey and site research to identify former heating oil storage tank. ARM then performed soil borings and geoprobe groundwater sampling.
Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, PA. ARM conducted a geophysical survey to evaluate potential solution features in the carbonate bedrock underlying a Museum Facility.
