The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) recently issued its Consumptive Use Mitigation Plan that documents current and projected quantities of consumptive water uses in the Susquehanna watershed and outlines a strategy for addressing impacts from increased uses. Read more.

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) has announced a proposal to increase its consumptive water use mitigation fee to $0.28 per thousand gallons. The proposed increase is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2009. This proposal is open for public comment until May 31, 2008. A public hearing is scheduled for April 23, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Office on Elmerton Avenue in Harrisburg Pennsylvania.
