Geophysical Borehole Logging

ARM has assisted a confidential client  to identify and measure the depth and orientation of fractures and foliation plans in a borehole at Philpott Dam in Basset, VA. 

• ARM used a Natural Gamma, a Optical Televiewer (OTV), a3‐Arm Caliper, and an Acoustic Televiewer (ATV) for the geophysical investigation
• Both optical and acoustic televiewer images were used to measure the depth and orientations “of” fracture planes
