Helping Power Maryland’s Industrial Future

Tradepoint Atlantic Howard County Brownfield Redevelopment

SAVAGE, Maryland — ARM Group recently completed a Pre-Demolition Hazardous Material Survey and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for the future site of Tradepoint Atlantic’s new logistics facility in Howard County, Maryland.  This brownfield redevelopment project will generate 500 jobs and more than $100 million in investments.

This project marks the company’s first expansion outside its Sparrows Point location in Baltimore County, Maryland, and will bring more than 500,000 square feet of industrial and warehouse space to the Route 1 Corridor.

ARM Group’s Due Diligence Services helped facilitate the real estate transaction by allowing TPA’s Stakeholders and Decision Makers to move the project forward with confidence. The acquisition and redevelopment of this property is directly in line with Howard County’s broader initiative to bring new life to older commercial areas, turning them into modern hubs for shipping, storage, and job growth.

“Our job is to help clients identify and address potential environmental liabilities early, so projects like this can move forward safely and on schedule,” said Eric Magdar, Vice President of Environmental Services at ARM Group. “It’s always rewarding to support development that brings long-term value to the region.”

Construction is expected to begin in 2026, with the first phase scheduled for completion later that year.
