Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority Turns Landfill Gas into Electric Power

Anne Arundel County and the Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new 3.2 MW landfill gas to energy facility at the County’s Millersville Landfill. The facility becomes the second largest landfill gas generator in Maryland. ARM served as the Authority’s construction quality assurance engineer on the project. ARM previously provided design review and CQA services on the Authority’s landfill gas to energy facilities at Montgomery County’s Oaks and Gude landfills.
