ARM’s Scott Wendling Presented at Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologist Section Meeting
ARM Group’s Vice President, Scott Wendling, P.G., offered his expertise at the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologist (AEG) Baltimore-Washington-Harrisburg Section meeting on Thursday, January 21, 2016. Mr. Wendling provided a presentation on Geophysics in Environmental Consulting in Frederick, Maryland.
Mr. Wendling is a Senior Geophysicist & Hydrogeologist, having over 26 years of progressive technical experience providing geophysical, environmental and hydrogeologic consulting services to public and private sector clients. Mr. Wendling earned BS and MS degrees in Geology from Southern Illinois University. Mr. Wendling’s Master’s Thesis was a study of seismic refraction & wide angle reflection and gravity data in the Lake Superior area.
A specialist in geophysics and soil & groundwater characterization, he has been Project Manager for more than 50 large site characterization projects, and hundreds of smaller geophysical, site characterization, and remediation-related projects. His experience includes both invasive and non-invasive investigation techniques in varied geological terrain to determine the nature and distribution of chemical and radiological constituents in soil and groundwater. Mr. Wendling is a Vice President and Senior Project Manager at ARM Group Inc. and manages ARM Geophysics, which provides a complete range of surface and down-hole geophysical services.
