August 20th is World Honeybee Day

Jessica Ickes • Aug 20, 2022

Today is World Honeybee Day! Honeybees are an important part of our ecosystem, and so much so that ARM Group incorporates pollinator plantings into our solar projects. As part of our solar ecology approach, our biologists work with designers to incorporate wildflowers and other pollinator friendly plants (trees and shrubs), where appropriate to encourage honeybees, as well as other important pollinating species, to continue to thrive. By utilizing the areas between panel rows or array rows, it creates a low maintenance option for the client, but also helps keep our pollinators where they BEE-long.
