ARM Welcomes Genevieve Smith to our New Jersey Office!
Genevieve holds a master’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an E.I.T certification. She has a strong background in Geotechnical Engineering to include MSE wall design, shallow foundations, analysis of retaining walls and reinforced slopes, and large diameter testing. Additionally, Genevieve has been an adjunct instructor and teaching assistant at the University of Delaware and Virginia Tech leading courses such as fundamentals of soil mechanics testing, soil mechanics laboratory, and introduction to geotechnical engineering. Genevieve is a mom of four who enjoys rowing, riding her motorcycle, and owns her own small business making hand-stamped jewelry. With her strong geotechnical background, a passion to teach, and a desire to learn, Genevieve will be a great asset to ARM.
